What’s the Ordering Process for my Shutters?

Excited about the thought of treating your home to a fabulous new set of plantation shutters, but a little overwhelmed at how you go about ordering and installing them? Well there’s no need to worry! At Shutters Manchester it only takes three easy steps in our ordering process so whichever shutter style you desire is up and in your home in up to 12 weeks.
The first step is making an appointment with the team and designing your dream shutters. Consider the room you want your new window treatment in to help in the decision process. Which of our many shutters styles is the best option? Cafe style? Full height? We have a style to suit any type of window!
Picked your style? Then the next step is to choose between a solid or louvred panel. If opting for a louvred shutter you can even customize the size of the slats. When opened larger slats on a shutter can allow more light to get into the room, however large slats are not the best option for smaller windows.
Next is colour, whether you’re looking for a big bold statement, or something a little more neutral, we have a wide variety of colours to choose from. You won’t be short on choice that’s for sure. All of these decisions can be made once you have booked an appointment with us, so our shutter experts can advise and inform you of all the options available to you.
The next step is to finalise up your quote, ask your last questions and get your order in. Step two will see our shutter consultant measuring your windows for a seamless made to measure fit – we want to make sure come installation day your set of shutters fit perfectly. Until your custom shutter order is sent off to be carefully crafted you can make as many changes as necessary, we want your window shutters to be perfect so just let us know if there’s something else you would like to consider.
Once everything has been finalised your quote will be emailed to you, and from there you can make your payment – simple!
Lastly the most exciting part: installing your beautiful new interior shutters! Get in touch with our team to arrange the fitting, we’ll make sure we find the best available time and date that works for you. On the agreed day, one of our technicians will arrive, so you can sit back, relax and wait for the shutter installation to be complete. Once your shutters are up and looking fabulous, you’ll be left with a care package so that you can keep your shutters in tip top shape.
